This threaded socket set, extraction punch, and fitting bearing are simple and quick to use.
For removal: partially screw the appropriate socket onto the stud and drive it out using the punch in a suitable air chisel. 
For installation: insert the new stud, place the bearing over it, and screw the stud into position using the correct socket.
